Introducing the Tangled Rosette Collection

Well, my little Princess Emma is officially 4! I cannot believe how grown up she has become over this last year. As you can tell she had a Rapunzel TANGLED party this year. She thinks she is Rapunzel, ok not really but she is clearly obsessed! :)  Hey, she has me convinced! She has all of that gorgeous long blonde hair, has a beautiful voice, is an artist and has a spunky personality.

I knew the instant we saw the preview for this movie last summer that this would not only be the birthday party she would want to have, but also that she would be obsessed with this movie (like I was as well :). I hadn't entirely convinced myself that I wanted to throw a party this year, but I love my daughter (and being the die-hard Disney fans we are) when we took her to see TANGLED on Thanksgiving day and seeing how truly amazing this movie was, I knew we had to go for it. With all of the fabulous colors, music and other ideas that came flooding into my head as I sat there with my popcorn watching I became really giddy for her birthday to roll around 2 months later. First came the invitations.....
I began searching some ideas for invites and got an idea for a braid on the invite and made one with my own spin on it complete with the Golden Sun-crest. I also saw a cute idea to put a braid on the door. This one went through our entry way as the little Princesses entered the Royal Tower.
I also made the royal purple banner just like the one in the movie and adorned it with ribbon.
Next was the cake. Again, I searched a lot online for some ideas and then used what I liked and put my own spin on it. I am not good at cakes so this was a little intimidating to me but the idea I found was fairly easy and I think it turned out rather nice for my mediocre cake skills. :) I had cupcakes for the girls to eat so we could enjoy the presence of the cake all weekend.
Next was the Hair! Probably the most important part for a Rapunzel party. I am not that great at braids and I knew Emma wanted the braid like Rapunzel had in the movie during the floating lights scene so I did my best.
I think we pulled it off! She loved it and wanted to wear them all day.
Then the Princesses arrived! We kicked off the party with some games. Theses girls were so much fun! Then we opened presents.
We also decorated their very own lantern.
We gave Emma her very own floating glowing lantern just like Rapunzel's parents did for her on her birthday each year.
Can you tell she had a great party?!
All of the princesses. We had 14 and loved every minute of it!
Then it was time to sing Happy Birthday and eat cake!
For Party favors we made chocolate covered marshmallows.....
I also gave out a little goody bag (that I forgot to take a picture of) that had the Tangled CD in it with a Rapunzel Lip Gloss and the best part was Emma sang the "Flower Gleam and Glow " Incantation Song for all of her friends and then they each got to pick a flower from her hair to take home and I attached it to the card below.
Well, the Party was a success and I'm officially exhausted! Emma said it was the "Best Party Ever!!"
You can purchase our "Inspired By Tangled Rosettes" on our ETSY shop now. Either a single or the
"Party Collection". Thanks for looking! :)
